Transit: Everyone are safe and in good health. We continue to operate with 2/3 of staff working from home and the rest 1/3 in the office. This is fully compliant with new stricter regulations in DK.

General: All of Europe and USA plus various Asian countries have restriction for public interaction.

The situation in China and S. Korea is becoming more stable and production is slowly increasing. Suppliers dependable on components from overseas are however challenged in their production / supply chain due disruptions in Q1 both via Ocean Freight and Air Freight.

Road: Although most countries in Europe have closed their borders there are no restrictions for freight. LTL truck routes are however reduced. Please also keep some delay at borders in mind.



Update March 16

As mentioned in our update on Thursday, March 12th, we are fully operational at Trans-it due to our 24/7 setup. We are approximately 1/3 working from our office, and the rest is working from home. Our primary focus is to keep everyone healthy and maintain the service level for our clients. There are some challenges when it comes to moving cargo, as you all know, but we try our very best to get the spares delivered as planned.

Road:

Various European countries have closed their borders. This is however not applicable for freight. Kindly however expect delays at various borders.

Danish government has imposed various measures mainly for governmental employees presently applicable for the next 2 weeks. So far this has limited effect on the operation of TRANS-IT. Due to our 24/7 setup all employees are able to work remotely from home in case any strict measures will be implemented at a later stage.

Updated February 7..

Further to our previous updates regarding the Novel Corona Virus, please note that China expect to return back from official extended Chinese New Year next week. 

Please note for Air Freight that presently 10 major airlines have suspended service to/from China with most airlines resuming flights end February or during March.

Please note for Ocean Freight that presently 6 major ocean carriers have announced service suspensions.

We will do our outmost to keep up our logistic service level to/from China Kindly. However, expect challenges with capacity the next days/weeks.

Updated January 28

Further to our info yesterday regarding the Novel Corona Virus please note that Chinese New Year has now been further extended to February 9th for the greater Shanghai area.

Although this is not official for entire China please note that local governments could impose their own policy according to the local situation.

Kindly expect delays in logistic operation for China both this and next week.

We will keep you informed as the situation in China might change with short notice.

Please note following update from China related to the Novel Corona Virus / Chinese New Year.

To avoid the Novel Corona Virus (named 2019-nCoV) spread in Mainland of China, today Chinese Government officially informed that Chinese Lunar New Year Holiday will be extended from 30 Jan to 02 Feb. We are requested to stay home during our Holiday. In many places people and traffic in-out is limited by local government. The limitation may continue after our Holiday. It will heavily affect operation in China. Pls be noted and appreciate your understanding.
